John R. La Van

Jack graduated from the University of British Columbia Law School in 1971 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1972. Jack has extensive experience in banking, finance, debt restructuring and real estate and has specialized in insured and conventional commercial lending and construction lending transactions. He also acts for clients on various aspects of commercial law, real estate development and corporate reorganizations. Jack has also assisted many business owners and individuals with estate planning and acted in the capacity as an executor.

Jack is an avid swimmer and cyclist and enjoys retreating to Whistler to sip wine and delight in its beauty and nature.
